Freshmen Brandon Collins, Brian Clymer, and Davis Goodin make up the ThunderKiats team, which won the Local Programming Contest on Sunday afternoon, October 9th. This team and others will move on to the ACM Regional Programming Contest, proudly hosted at UNL by the Computer Science and Engineering Department and the local chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) on November 12.

Eleven teams of three members each competed in the Local Contest. Head Coach and Professor Chuck Riedesel noted that "the contest ran very smoothly." He expects UNL teams to be competitive at the regional level again this year. Teams will continue to practice until the Regional Contest.
