Spreetail and Virtual Incision will host a State of the Practice event on Wednesday, April 12 to share more about their companies and open jobs with students.
Prosper Lincoln is sponsoring a new series of "State of the Practice" events that will give Computer Science and Engineering students a chance to become better acquianted with the companies that presented at the Reverse Pitch event. The nine featured organizations will host similar, but smaller events as groups of two or three at new locations throughout the spring semester.
This State of the Practice event will be hosted at the Spreetail office, which is located on Nebraska Innovation Campus. Students will arrive at 7 p.m. and receive a tour followed by a Q&A session with employees from both companies. Students will have a chance to ask about their roles and work, the company, work environment, which positions might be right for them, and application tips. Employees will also be available after for one-one-one conversations. There will also be plenty of free food to enjoy! Students should not miss out on this event if they're interested in applying to either company in the future.
Students in need of transportation may take a campus bus to the event that will pick them up at the 14th & Vine bus stop at one of the listed pick-up times (http://parking.unl.edu/innovation-campus-routes#22-schedule). This bus will require a bus pass. Students may also drive themselves and park in the free north lot.
Attire for this event is casual, so come as you are comfortable.
