The cyber-security seminar course covers current topics of interest in mobile and wireless security. The main topics of interests include: wireless security (security of autonomous driving, wearable sensors), mobile security (mobile information leakage, mobile OS vulnerabilities), and security and privacy in emerging networks and IoT systems (security of mobile AI systems, smart radios, blockchain networks). Wireless and mobile systems have become ubiquitous; playing a significant role in our everyday life. The increasing demand for wireless connectivity and the emergence of new areas such as the Internet of Things present new opportunities and challenges. This course introduces foundations and practical insight to wireless communications and wireless/mobile networking. Among the topics covered are: wireless network architectures, wireless channels, OFDM, MIMO systems, software-defined radios, cellular networks, WiFi, and IoT. Stay connected!
