Women’s Week 2019 is a series of events, March 1-8, coordinated by the university Women’s Center to celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.
This year’s theme is “Creating Change Through Courage and Compassion.” Each year we recognize leaders within our campus and Lincoln communities as women of character, courage, and commitment. We are seeking nominations of women in as many different fields and roles as possible. We honor every woman who is nominated with an electronic display throughout the week in the Nebraska Union, and at the Women's History Month Banquet on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
All members of the UNL community are invited to nominate a woman who has made a positive impact in your life through professional, personal, mentoring, or peer relationships.
