The university has moved into a new phase of the @huskers.unl.edu email transition, and students now have the opportunity to request their own email address before one is assigned to them.
Students who don’t already have an account to claim and would like to choose their own address should visit huskers.unl.edu before May 11.
Students who don’t claim their own address by May 11 will be assigned an email address and it cannot be changed once created.
Beginning May 20, @huskers.unl.edu will become the primary email for all students and all official university communications.
