Our NebraskaMATH colleague Cindy Beaman had surgery on Oct. 30 to remove a brain tumor. Although the tumor was benign, her recovery process is going to be much longer and more involved than was anticipated.

Cindy is home from the hospital and will begin several months of therapy to regain her physical and mental functions. Her family said her memory and mind are improving exponentially each day!

Join us in spreading the word about providing home-cooked meals for Cindy and her family. If you would be interested please click the link below and read the updates for additional details. Please be mindful of COVID safety recommendations if providing a meal. If you would like to send flowers, cards, or words of encouragement, you can find Cindy's address on the meal train sign-up.

Please share this with anyone you know who would like to help out Cindy and her family.

"Cindy has taken care of so many of us, we'd love to be able to shower her with lots of love during this difficult time," said her GIPS colleague and friend Danielle Buhrman.
