Dinner and a Math Problem and Math Teachers' Circle meetings provide opportunities for mathematicians and teachers to discover and share with students the excitement and richness of problem solving in deep yet accessible mathematical topics.

Kyle Royuk (Seward High School) and Doug Glasshoff (East Butler Public Schools) hosted a Dinner and a Math Problem meeting in Seward, Neb., on Monday, Nov. 5. There were 19 in attendance, including teachers of grades 5-12 from Crete, Seward, East Butler and David City, as well as a principal and faculty from UNL and Concordia University. The group enjoyed some Mexican food while learning about Conway's Rational Tangles.
