Illustrative Mathematics expanding resources to middle and high school

Starting in 2012, Illustrative Mathematics grew to house a curated collection of over 1,200 mathematics tasks, each connected to Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and embodying habits of mind (and standards for mathematical practice). The Illustrative Mathematics team just finished putting materials together to form middle-level curricula (open-access online textbooks) that have complete lesson plans, including effective questions to gauge student understanding and have class discussions. Most lessons also have good resources for adapting lessons for ELL students.

The Illustrative Mathematics team is now working on doing the same for high school. The materials are free, but teachers need to create an account (with your school email address) to get access to the lesson plans and assessments. Enjoy!
