The Fall 2019 symposium is scheduled for Friday, October 25th. It marks the grand opening of the university’s Center for Transformative Teaching and officially welcomes its inaugural director, Nick Monk.
The festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. at Nebraska Innovation Campus, with senior administration introducing the CTT and its new director. Circulate through a CTT interactive showcase followed by a buffet lunch.
Dr. Carl S. Moore, from the University of the District of Columbia, will engage us in an interactive keynote. Afternoon breakout sessions on a variety of topics, drawings for prizes, and a closing reception will round out the day.
The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor is pleased to sponsor the Fall 2019 Teaching and Learning Symposium. The symposia provide an opportunity to engage in conversations about teaching and learning, to hear from experts on emerging issues in improving student outcomes, and to network with others seeking to improve teaching at Nebraska.
