The Assessment, Rehabilitation and Conservation of Historical and Existing Structures (ARCHES) Workshop will be hosted in Omaha, Nebraska at The Courtyard Aksarben Village on November 9-11, 2017. The workshop is being coordinated by Dr. Ece Erdogmus, Associate Professor in The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction. The event will bring together international experts to discuss historical buildings and sites in addition to developing a joint, international, multi-institution advanced master's degree, and forming a technical committee on Masonry Arch Bridges under the Masonry Society.
