As part of the University of Nebraska’s sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) celebration, the inaugural Student Luminary Awards will be presented. Nominations are due Jan. 18.
They are designed to shine a light on exceptional undergraduate and graduate students who make a difference through their leadership and extraordinary commitment to improving the campus or community while excelling in their academic pursuits.
The university community is encouraged to submit nominations through Jan. 18, 2019.
Each student luminary recipient will receive a $1,000 monetary award. Award recipients will be honored at a reception on March 8, 2019.
Two graduate students will be recognized. Eligible graduate students must meet the following criteria:
* Are enrolled full-time as a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln when nominations are due;
* Prior recipients will not be considered for awards.
