In the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) we have a great program for students with those interests. Hospitality, Restaurant Tourism and Management (HRTM) has a variety of areas to specialize in and our graduates continue to do amazing things across the globe. The HRTM program offers six areas of interest where students can focus on one of the following options: Club Management, Event Management, Food and Beverage, Human Resources, Lodging, or Tourism. You’ll have the opportunity to complete three hands-on internships where you’ll help grow and develop your skills. Our graduates are consistently prepared for their future careers and have unbelievable experiences here at Nebraska. In this industry-driven program, students complete a Leadership and Communications minor and many elect to complete a minor in business as well.
The College of Education and Human Sciences has a passion for studying abroad and offers a variety of international experiences that are more major-specific, including HRTM. A future trip to Dubai is one opportunity that is being explored where students can see and experience some of the finest hotels in the world with the hopes to experience some of the best hospitality options in the world.
