The first Heartland Extension Disaster Education Network (Heartland EDEN) webinar - Linking Extension and Community Disaster Response: 2020 Missouri River Flooding Forecast – will be held on February 27, at 9:00 am CST (8am MST). Participants will learn more about the spring 2020 forecast for the Missouri River, the national Emergency Response Framework, the emergency response process and Extension's role in it, as well as health and safety considerations. While the river/climate portion of the webinar is focused on the Missouri River main stem, the remainder of the program is applicable across Nebraska.
