In the wake of the March storm, many communities across the state are looking for help and resources to make a new start and begin the healing process. The upcoming Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference in Beatrice is an opportunity for community leaders and residents, as well as Extension staff supporting the rebuilding effort, to learn about programs, resources, and opportunities in community and entrepreneurial development; network with resource agencies, state and national experts, and other communities; share best practices and ideas; and begin the process of rebuilding and healing. This year’s conference includes keynotes by Dell Gines, senior community advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City – Omaha Branch, and David Weaver of the Orton Family Foundation.
