Hello Geology Majors,
I hope this week's message finds you doing well and managing the stress of your final exams. I know that this can be a tough week after a long semester, and I wish you all the best as you work through everything.
While the break between the fall and spring semesters is a great time to relax and reset, it is also a great time to reflect on how the fall semester went for you. How did the semester go week over week? Were there things that you did or didn't do that made the semester go well? Not go well? Were there things that you learned in your classes that changed your perspective going forward?
I urge you to reflect upon the fall semester before you start on the spring semester. I would be glad to help in any way that I can with your reflection. I would also be glad to help if your reflection results in you making changes for the spring semester. Over break, I will be out of the office from Thursday, December 23 to Tuesday, January 4, and UNL will be shut down from Friday, December 24 to Monday, January 3. Otherwise, I will be in the office and available for meetings about anything.
Again, good luck with final exams and best wishes for a safe, relaxing, and healthy break!
