TRIO Programs - Student Support Services Math Tutor Positions
As a tutor for TRIO-Student Support Services (SSS), you will help students who are first generation, those with disabilities, and/or come from low-income backgrounds. This position is available as work study.
Tutoring will take place in the TRIO-SSS office - Canfield 220. Hours of this tutor position will be based on the tutor's availability, preferably 10 hrs/wk. SSS hours of operation are Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm. This position is renewable semester after semester as long as the tutor is a current student.
Requirements to tutor in Science:
- Sophomore and above standing
- Completed, or in the process of completing, the following courses with an A / B+: LIFE 120/120L; LIFE 121/121L; BIOS 101/101L; BIOS 110/110L; BIOS 111; CHEM 109A/109L; and/or CHEM 110A/110L.
