The Business Career Center is excited to offer a series of employer virtual career expeditions Monday, October 19, through Wednesday, October 21. Nine employers will share unique aspects of “a day in the life.” You can attend any session of interest. Registration is optional but those who register can also upload a resume to be sent to the employer.

Fanatics –interested in sports marketing? Fanatics is a large apparel retailer but also has a strong data analytics component to help teams with ticket sales and other promotions. They have locations across the U.S. and are building out their presence in the U.K. and Asia.

DePuy Sythes – want to be involved in healthcare? This subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson works in trauma sales so their sales staff partner with medical professionals, working in emergency rooms and surgery centers.

Boys Town – prefer to work in a non-profit? Boys Town will share a wide range of business roles, their strengths-based philosophy, and their diversity & inclusion efforts.

Conagra Brands – interested in global brand management? Conagra sources and distributes nearly a hundred brands across the world. They plan to share information about their supply chain, but also the impact of COVID-19 on their business operations.

Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development – what brings people and organizations to Lincoln? Lincoln has received national recognition for innovation offering drive-up career fairs and efforts to help refugees gain marketable skills. All of this contributes to attracting and retaining people in our community.

Puente Marketing – interested in marketing and consulting? Hear from a UNL alum who created a marketing consulting business focused on reaching the Hispanic market. He’ll talk about their support of Hispanic businesses as well as how they use data to help their clients tap into this growing segment of the population.

Sandhills Global – have a wide range of interests? Sandhills started as a print trade publication and continues to thrive and expand into online and international markets especially in the agriculture, transportation, aviation, and construction sectors.

Simplot - interested in global sustainability, natural resources, and agriculture? Simplot is a farm-to-table international food and agriculture company that runs operations around the globe and distributes products to more than 60 countries worldwide. Learn about their approach to feeding the world in a pandemic as well as their sales trainee program.

FBI – want to use your investigative skills to “follow the money?” Business majors use their skills to analyze financial information and mission-critical assets. Beyond special agent roles, other business functions keep the FBI running effectively to protect our country.
