Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience.

Description of work:
Assist with administrative duties and functions. Serve as primary receptionist and third-party point of contact for OGS. Manage correspondence for OGS and scheduling needs for the Dean, Leadership Team and others, as needed and requested. Position will also perform time-sensitive document collection, data entry, and review of admission materials. Position will also guide prospective students through the admission process when questions arise, review applications for residency for tuition purposes, make determination in collaboration with Assistant Dean, and process in student information systems.

Minimum required qualifications:
Bachelor’s, equivalent education/experience considered, and one (1) year of relevant office experience that demonstrates customer service skills and knowledge. Word processing, spreadsheet knowledge, data base experience, interpersonal skills, including an ability to work in a high student traffic office. Organizational skills. Ability to learn and use a lot of complex information, ability to problem solve. Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential matters. Work effectively as team member. Ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications:
Higher education experience. Microsoft Office experience, Familiarity with student information systems, e.g. MyRed, MyPLAN
