Thursday, March 10, 2022 | 1-4:30 PM,
via Zoom

The Office of Graduate Studies will offer a grant writing seminar for graduate students presented by Dr. John Robertson, a managing member of Grant Writers' Seminars & Workshops, who has received competitive extramural funding from both NIH and non-federal sources. The deadline to register is Friday, February 25 by noon.

The virtual seminar will comprehensively address both practical and conceptual aspects important to the proposal writing process, emphasizing:

  • Idea development
  • Identification of appropriate granting agencies
  • How to write for reviewers
  • Tips and strategies of proven value in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers
Each participant will receive a workbook to use during the workshop. Four versions of the seminar workbook are available, depending on the sources from which you plan to seek funding: the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and a general version geared towards smaller funding agencies and foundations. Each participant may select only one workbook. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.

Registration is limited to the first 200 participants. Register at http://go.unl.edu/2022grantwriting
