Inclusive Teaching Case Study Discussion
When: Today, March 22, 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
When: Teachers College Hall Room: 205

This session will allow participants to engage in discussion and conversation around case studies focusing on inclusive teaching issues. Inclusive Teaching is a concept that focuses on a variety of issues centered on teaching in a way to allow all students to participate equitably in the class. This session will be held in person and participants navigate case studies on ethical cases related in inclusive teaching in the classroom.

Nourishing Student Knowledge with Feedback
When: Tomorrow, March 23, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Where: Zoom

Educational psychologist Dr. Kenneth Kiewra, a science of teaching and learning expert, describes the importance of student feedback and how to deliver it. This workshop will help instructors and TAs better understand how to give effective or meaningful feedback to students. Professor Kiewra is the recipient of several teaching awards including the University of Nebraska System’s Outstanding Teaching and Creativity Award (OTICA) in 2021.
