Joyful Journey- 8-part Series on Preparing for Academic Careers

This spring CIRTL is hosting an online event series exploring professional development topics in academic hiring and career preparation. "The Joyful Journey: Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholar Professional Development Series" is a mix of events that feature panels of faculty and staff discussing their career trajectories and hiring experiences, and events that provide introductions to common materials needed in academic hiring, like teaching and research statements. Events take place online in Zoom (schedule varies), and are open for registration.

Monday, Feb. 3 | Early Career Faculty Panel

Join early career faculty panelists from a variety of colleges and universities to discuss their experiences on the academic job market, how they prepared for their current position, how their institution approaches community and mentoring for early career faculty, and advice for current graduate students and postdocs.
