Susan Burton, graduate student advised by Gina Matkin in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication, has won a prestigious Ping Fellowship. This $20,000 doctoral fellowship provides support for doctoral research focused on U.S. undergraduate study abroad.
It is funded through an endowment named after Charles Ping, a gifted teacher and scholar, a tireless advocate for the internationalization of U.S. higher education, President Emeritus of Ohio University, and a former Chairman of the Council for the International Exchange of Educator’s Board of Directors.
