This faculty-led education abroad program offers students a unique experience in Rwanda in preparation for a career in photojournalism. More specifically, students will:
• Participate in a three-week-long documentary photojournalism project.
• Use professional-grade DSLR camera equipment to produce a multimedia story.
• Discover Rwanda's culture of friendliness and generosity.
The application deadline is Sept. 23. Students who apply must have passed any one of these courses: JOUR 404, JOUR 291 or JOMC 291. It is a mandatory two-semester course during fall 2019 and spring 2020. Students must pay for their semester credits and in-country meals, with some group meals provided.
