The Street Team Member is a part-time role that will be the face of the Omaha Storm Chasers. Street Team Members will become brand experts and share our story through consistent interactions at a variety of events throughout the greater Omaha area. As a street team member, you will gain a behind-the-scenes look at how to successfully plan and execute large and small events as well as how to engage with fans throughout the Omaha area.
Responsibilities:
> Tell the Omaha Storm Chasers story in a fun and energetic manner
> Share a consistent brand experience by knowing and understanding the Omaha Storm Chasers brand
> Generate excitement through in-person conversations with fans at events
> Consistently engage with fans and passersby through both conversations and sharing promotional items
> Work both independently and as part of a team to create a seamless experience for fans
> Transport, set up and tear down at all community events
> Track touchpoints (conversations and handing out materials) and write a post-event recap to document engagement with fans
> Participate in fan entertainment at home games
> Other duties may be assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
> In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
> Excellent customer service skills
> Ability to solve problems quickly
> Attention to detail
> Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and database programs
> Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
> Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
