The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club is seeking a Social Media/Graphic Design/Public Relations Intern for the 2020 season. This position will work under the direction of the General Manager, early February - mid-August.
Job Candidate Requirements:
> Provide laptop computer with the adequate graphic design programs
> DSLR Camera
> Ability to lift 50 lbs
> Reliable transportation
General Responsibilities:
> Assist press box personnel as needed (PA announcer, scorekeeper, broadcaster, etc.)
> Assist with webcast needs and camera set-up / tear down
> Capture (through use of DSLR camera) footage of fans, employees and players throughout the game
> Post images / updates of games on social media platforms – both home and away
> Assist with pre-game and post-game shows
> Assist with all pre-game set-up and post-game clean up as needed
> Design print ads for advertisers & sponsors (banners, program ads, etc.)
> Produce game day program (32+ pages)
> Create posters, pocket schedules, magnet schedules, baseball cards and other materials
> Collaborate with printers and other vendors to ensure accuracy and quality of products
> Regularly update team website with player news, story lines, pictures, etc
> Coordinate/attend mascot and player appearances in community
> Assist with creating promotional videos and press releases for website and social media
> Ability to work game nights and weekends in addition to other team functions
> Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Experience Required:
> Ability to meet deadlines

> Knowledge of website design and editing
> Incredibly organized and goal oriented
> Strong time management skills
> Ability to multi-task and work independently
> Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
> Proficient in Microsoft Office
