Marketing and Design Intern - Monolith Materials (Lincoln, NE)

Monolith, located in Lincoln, NE, is excited to announce its search for a Marketing and Design Intern. Monolith Materials, Inc. is seeking a Marketing and Design Intern to help seize all the marketing and communications opportunities available to a growing, dynamic company on the verge of disrupting a global marketplace. You Will:
> Support Visual Brand Building – Using our newly-created brand standards, you will help build key visual components of our brand (both online and traditional) for internal and external communications.
> Enhance Employee Communications – Help us build, then take primary responsibility for the day-to-day execution of our employee communications program, linking our nearly 90 employees across our four locations.
> Contribute Digital Media – Get hands-on experience keeping Monolith’s digital presence fresh, engaging, relevant and on-brand.
> Assist with Event Planning & Execution – Play a key role in preparing us for industry tradeshows, community events and in-house celebrations.
> Collaborate with Leadership – Develop special projects and executive other duties as assigned.

You Have:
> An ability to understand our culture, employees, markets and products in order to be a key part of strategic communications and marketing decisions.
> Begun your junior or senior years of college with an emphasis in design and digital communications.
> Experience with design solutions like InDesign, Photoshop, etc, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
> The potential to gather, organize and form opinions on digital media metrics (LinkedIn, Website).
> The ability to think big (strategically/conceptually) and work small (execute on the details that turn strategy into reality).
> A desire to learn our company’s core values and integrate them into your working style.
> An enthusiasm for our company’s brand promise, “Technology for a cleaner world."

Travel and Expectations:
At this time, we only anticipate travel between our Lincoln and Hallam, NE locations. You will need to travel on your own between facilities.

This is a paid internship for the 2020 Spring Semester (January 13 – May 8, 2020) with the possibility for extension. Expectations are 20-30 hours per week, on a schedule that is beneficial for both you and Monolith. This can vary as workload requires.
