The Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications was presented with nine PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards during the 2019 ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in Omaha.
“These awards show all the hard work the students have put into PRSSA over the past year,” UNL PRSSA faculty advisor Jemalyn Griffin said. “I’m incredibly proud of my students for being recognized as student leaders across the state.”
All of PRSSA’s awards were of the highest distinction and served as an affirmation of the chapter’s recruitment and campaigning efforts over the course of 2019. One of the most notable awards recognizes when the chapter raised more than $500 from a single fundraiser, the highest amount to date. The complete list of awards won by PRSSA are as follows:
