Easy Event Planning LLC (EEP) has launched an important initiative called “Hope and Thank COVID-19 Heroes” to thank the healthcare workers risking their lives and the lives of their loves ones to save ours. This is a great way for you to leverage the extra time you now have at home and to focus on something really really positive.
This is an unprecedented (short-term) internship/volunteer opportunity for you to gain measurable, impressive resume experience in an initiative we know will go viral. Future employers will be very impressed to hear you were part of a well-known movement. The internship could last 4-6 weeks; longer if interested. You must be able to devote at least 10 hours to the project. Otherwise, we just have too many people to manage with very limited resources. You can work anytime - day or night, weekends, etc.
You will work on teams on areas most effective by the virus. You will have an opportunity to participate in one or more key marketing projects related to this initiative including:
> Public relations – reaching out to share press releases via social media, email and phone.
> Research – find the right politicians, media contacts, influencers, entertainers, sports figures, celebrities, additional facilities we may be missing, etc.
> Social media/graphic design – hashtag research and use, tagging, posting etc, Facebook group research, influencer outreach and more; we need social media and blog graphics, press coverage edited and posted.
> Blog writing – we are building a library of blog articles to help everyone get through this crisis together.
This is ideal for students who are marketing, public relations, communications or graphic design students. You must be proactive and highly communicative.
EEP is a technology company that is changing the way people plan events. We have the largest event vendor directory in the United States (more than 400k profiles) and game-changing technology that no one has (an instant chat feature, for example). The site is poised to become very high-profile in coming years. We are currently accepting applications for unpaid summer internships. Preference for those sought-after positions will go to students who volunteer on this initiative.
