The Down Syndrome Association for Families (DSAF) is seeking an Event Communication Specialist Volunteer who can help to keep DSAF members and the general public updated and informed about upcoming events and opportunities.
If digital communication and design is your passion – this volunteer position is for you.
Responsibilities:
> Create, manage, and distribute digital marketing materials for upcoming DSAF events and programs
> Collaborate with DSAF’s Marketing and Development Director and Program Director to create and manage digital promotional materials for upcoming events using Canva.com
> Add and manage events on the DSAF website and Facebook pages
> Assist in the marketing and promotion of DSAF major events, including the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk on October 10, 2020 and World Down Syndrome Day in March
Approximate time commitment: 4-5 hours per month (approximately 1 hour/week).
