The Partnership Development team is focused on building the company’s pipeline by finding the best partners with the greatest products and growth potential. By outbound prospecting, relationship building, and on-boarding new vendors, this team aims to place $1M in initial purchase orders with our net new partners each month.
As a Market Research Intern, you are an excellent communicator and will effortlessly manage relationships between multiple teams. You enjoy challenging yourself and others and possess the ability to be detail-oriented at an efficient pace. You are an Excel wiz, capable of analyzing and interpreting large data sets. You are curious, eager to learn, and enjoy research projects.
As a Market Research Intern, you will:
> Become the expert on our marketplace and direct-to-consumer buying strategies.
> Complete product and pricing analysis armed with information from prospective vendors.
> Drive research process to accelerate opening order proposals.
> Prioritize research opportunities appropriately in alignment with assortment gaps.
> Assist in the crafting of opening orders, forecasting, and overall strategic buy plans with new vendors.
> Partner with cross functional teams such as Assortment Growth, Planning, and Vendor Management on key initiatives.

> Reliable. You will be the go-to individual for any internal or external new vendor relationship coordination.
> Organized. You’ll need to develop a workflow to gain efficiencies and accelerate growth for your priorities and the Partnership Development team.
Nimble. You are always prepared to respond to the changing demands as our needs grow and change.
> Determined. We will always be waiting on either the vendor or our internal teams, so we need someone ready to stay on top of those individuals to drive projects forward as fast as possible.
> Detailed. The research and buy plans are what drive our success as a team, department, and company. We need accuracy, speed, and creativity to be on the forefront when crafting buy plans and finding our way to be successful with vendors.
> Advanced in your Excel knowledge.
