The Combine is searching for a highly organized and ambitious individual to work in an independent, project-based work environment. Invest Nebraska is seeking a full time Communications Coordinator with strong storytelling and writing skills with some work in basic digital design. The Communication Coordinator will work with The Combine program director to create communication strategies and marketing materials for a startup incubation and support program. The communications, public relations, and marketing activities of this role will help expand awareness of The Combine, its geographic reach, and overall brand. You will create compelling content for print, web, and social media and support communications needs across the organization.
> Direct and manage PR activities to develop and implement activities to promote The Combine brand
> Develop and implement creative content to further expand the program reach and awareness
> Create communications material for stakeholder quarterly reports
> Ownership of all social and digital communication channels
> Plan and create newsletters, flyers, blogs, social media posts and other written marketing material
> Self-Starter, comfortable working in autonomous work environment
> Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations and/or communications
> Comfortable with independent decision making
> Strong proficiency in MS Office, proofreading skills, and strong attention to detail
> Comfortable designing and creating basic promotional graphic content and cover pages
> Desire to support about technology start-ups in the AgriFood Space
