We are searching for a detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to take on designs during the final stages of execution to ensure accuracy and prepare them for print or digital/social media publication. The ideal Graphic Design Intern will combine a strong mix of creative, technical, and communication skills with a solid attention to detail to ensure our print and digital/social media designs meet high-quality standards.
PAY RATE: $15.00/HR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Work on ad campaign artwork with guidance from Art Director
> Check details ensuing all graphics, colors and typographical elements are free of errors
> Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
> Start initial layouts of designs with guidance from Art Director
> Search and download images from stock sites for campaigns
> Make layout copy edits from marketing specialists or clients
> Create PDFs, proofs, JPGs, animated banners, ads, social posts for client review and production
> Assist with photoshoots (N/A if working remotely)
EDUCATION:
Working toward a 4-year degree in marketing or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
> College Juniors and Seniors preferred, or design/layout introduction classes at the minimum
> Experience with ADOBE Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe XD. (In order of importance)
