Rabble Mill is a unique, growing nonprofit committed to creating tangible, long-term impact on kids and communities statewide in Nebraska. We seek a full-time versatile, strategic writer/communicator to execute and ensure consistent, effective, internal and external messaging across our multiple programs and brands, including The Bay, Skate for Change and Rabble Media.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Write - everything from video scripts to program narratives, direct mail to social posts, grants to annual reports
> Manage, and work with a team to execute marketing calendar
> Help devise and implement marketing strategy
> Ensure brand consistency across all Rabble Mill channels (Rabble Mill, The Bay, Rabble Media, Skate for Change)
> Work directly with local and national for- and nonprofit partners
> Reports directly to executive team
MUST HAVES:
> 4+ years professional experience writing to targeted audiences
> Able to dig deep into research and to conduct interviews necessary to contextually understand the audience and objective, and strategically craft and deliver effective messaging through multiple channels, across multiple brands
> Able to work autonomously, within systems, and deliver work on deadline while juggling multiple projects
> Direct, open, proactive communicator
> Passion for working with youth
> Ability to work from Omaha or Lincoln offices
