Lincoln Children's Zoo has been part of the community for over 47 years and is one of the most visited tourists destinations in Nebraska. The zoo features over 350 animals and over 40 endangered animals.
The zoo is looking for an intern to assist with video production needs. The position will include creating storyboards, filming, editing, and assisting in distributions needs. Completed videos will be distributed locally as well as globally. The internship will begin September 2012 and conclude either December 2012 or May 2012, depending on the applicants preference. Flexible hours, averaging 5 to 10 per week. This is a stipend internship.
experience:
Must have experience in the planning, filming, and editing processes. Must have knowledge of Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premier. Preferred knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Basic understanding of video distribution methods, including online and social media.
additional:
Open to Junior and Senior students. Must have transportation to and from the zoo.
