Experience:
Station Operator at KHGI-TV and/or KFXL-TV Master Control near Axtell, Nebraska, ABC Station Operator controls our 10+ transmitter and tower locations. Station Operator switches the station breaks at our ABC and/or FOX stations. In addition the Station Operator records the satellite delay programs and the commercial dubs to the file server. In addition the Station Operator may be called upon to carry out routine broadcast equipment maintenance, installations and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
No previous experience or training is needed, we will train. A previous electronic equipment background or interest would be helpful. Work hours vary as needed to provide Master Control Operators and supplemental maintenance support for our 24-hour operation. Work shifts are day (8a-4p), night shifts (4p-12m) and overnight (12m-8a).
Additional Information:
Pappas Telecasting maintains a drug free workplace and requires pre-employment testing. Candidate should have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
