The Opportunity
Gallup.com is looking for a tech-savvy journalist for a full-time position as a multimedia producer creating and managing content primarily for digital platforms. Ability to shoot, produce, and edit video for the web is key, as are skills in content management systems, photo editing, graphics, social media and other new media technologies. News judgment, writing skills, creativity, time management and organizational skills are critical.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is proficient in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and content management systems and has a basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, audio editing software, and Google Analytics.
A bachelor’s degree is required; degrees or training in journalism or communications are preferred.
An interest in and understanding of current events is strongly preferred.
