Graphic design internship

The Graphic Design Intern will develop innovative and professional graphics for reports, flyers, and a range of other projects at the Center for People in Need. The position is a unique opportunity for someone with graphics skills to contribute to giving Lincoln’s underserved a greater voice in the community and earn valuable graphics design experience in the nonprofit industry. The position is unpaid in the beginning and for approximately 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
· Create a variety of graphics projects, including laying out professionally-designed reports with poverty statistics, brochures, flyers, programs, graphs, and newsletters.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong graphics skills, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite, including PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign
· Can take direction and is open to input on the design of graphics
· Ability to work independently or with teams on projects
· Able to work 15 hours per week
