Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Internship Interview Sign-Up

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the largest-circulation daily newspaper in Arkansas, is taking applications for summer 2016 internships in Little Rock. Positions are available on the city and state desks, in addition to business, features and the copy desk.
Ideal candidates are journalism majors with a previous internship who have worked at their campus news outlet. The Democrat-Gazette prefers students in their senior year or recent graduates, though exceptional juniors and sophomores have been hired in the past.
The privately owned Democrat-Gazette has a circulation of 147,467 weekdays and 217,047 Sundays.
Little Rock is Arkansas's largest city (pop. 195,314) with a vibrant downtown cultural scene and a variety of unique neighborhoods. Yet, outdoor activities ranging from hunting and fishing to rock climbing and hiking are within minutes of the city limits.

Heidi White, state editor, will be at the CoJMC on October 16 for internship interviews. Sign up on the bulletin board on second floor.
