Kent Warneke, editor of the Norfolk Daily News, will be on hand to interview for a 2016 summer internship on Nov. 5. The internship is heavy on reporting and writing and allows time for the intern to plan and complete a major reporting project at the end of the summer. In addition to a competitive wage, the Daily News internship includes a $1,000 scholarship to help with tuition expenses the following school year. The preference is for those finishing their sophomore or junior years, but all interested students are welcome to sign up for an interview time.
