Production Manager, Fox 42 (Omaha)

FOX42 and CW15 in Omaha, NE are seeking a talented and experienced Production Manager for our Creative Services Department. Qualified candidates must be capable of creating stand-out commercials from concept to completion. This includes scripting, shooting, graphics, and editing cutting-edge work for our clients. The ability to work well with internal and external clients is vital.

Required Skills:

- Properly coordinate and schedule all aspects of production, including working with clients, sales staff and agencies
- Meeting deadlines with clients and staff, and managing equipment maintenance and usage
- Ability to manage video producers and production budget
- Creating scripts from concept to completion
Coordinating, directing and videotaping local commercials and Live studio production
- Work with Sales Management and Account Executives to create a mutually beneficial relationship with clients
- Oversee Setup and usage of television studio

Required Experience:

- Prior management experience in a video production environment
- Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premier experience is a plus)
- Extensive shooting and scripting of short and long form productions
- A strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography and composition (Adobe Photoshop and After Effects is a must).
- Proficiency in the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats.
- Ability to manage a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skills
- Advanced knowledge of videography, motion graphics and creative lighting techniques.
- Ability to maintain digital assets, archives and edit systems.
- Ability to routinely lift, carry and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs
- Live, multi-camera production experience preferred
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in broadcast production is a must
- A college degree is preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
