The Lower Platte South NRD is looking for a part time Social Media assistant to assist with the NRDs Social Media outreach. The Lower Platte South NRD works to protect and conserve natural resources and includes most of Lancaster and Cass counties, totaling nearly one-million acres of land and lakes. The NRD focuses their social media on posts about their local programs, projects and events.
Responsibilities about this position will include working with the NRDs Facebook and Instagram account to develop and schedule posts, monitor pages and provide feedback on analytics . Posts should be made 3-4 times a week. Duties will also include assistance with the NRDs youtube page. Approximately 4-8 hours a week to accomplish these tasks. Additional hours may be available during large NRD Events. Pay rate is $12-$15/hour.
