Nebraska with over 27 hours of locally produced news and programming per week in Kearney, Nebraska.
First and foremost, the successful
candidate must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including
weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will have a
strong technical aptitude and will have the ability to follow precise
instructions in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, accuracy, attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude
are also a must.
Duties include (but are not limited to)
editing video for news broadcasts using Grass Valley Edius. This includes: searching
and maintaining video archives, downloading/uploading video to and from various
sources, editing all video to match the appropriate scripts as well as creating
various full screen text graphics as needed.
NTV is looking for someone who is
particularly good with people, someone who is always the first to jump in and
lend a hand and someone who is forward thinking. A positive attitude is a must for this
position.
