Entry level sales position responsible for soliciting new NET radio, television and digital sales clients in the State of Nebraska over the phone and through email. This position will also provide customer service to reps and clients as needed, oversee our contract and spot placement processes, and manage our Salesforce database. The person in this position may also be asked to represent NET in the communities of Nebraska during networking events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, telecommunications or a related field of study plus six months of sales experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Upcoming graduates will be considered. Individuals without sales experience, but who demonstrate a strong desire to enter the Media Sales profession will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service and/or broadcast sales experience strongly preferred. Experience that demonstrates the ability to develop proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales preferred. Knowledge of broadcast media products and trends desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with diverse constituencies beneficial. Outstanding public relations and networking skills with public and private institutions helpful.
