Marketing Coordinator, EMI (Lincoln, NE)

The marketing coordinator is responsible for EMI social media campaigns, brand advertising, event planning and logistics. Additionally, they create and provide results summaries of the marketing campaigns and events for the Director of Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develop and coordinate marketing strategy for EMI
-Create and manage budget for all marketing and advertising
-Maintain website and web related advertising
-Manage social media sites
-Monitor and report on customer programs, mailers, and inclusion programs
-Provide event debriefs for trade shows and race events
-Manage print advertisement creation and placement
-Develop strategies to grow customer contact database
-Create and maintain apparel program(s), track program(s), and catalog program
-Create newsletters, emails, and other customer related correspondence
-Coordinate with affiliates on marketing campaigns and strategy
-Review and send all inbound and outbound mail
-Greet customers, vendors, and employees professionally and in a courteous manner.
-Accurately prepare accounting records and reports.
-Communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization
-Order supplies, file and perform miscellaneous duties as needed for the department.
-Support and adhere to safe work procedures and the use of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required to insure employee safety
-Maintain good attendance in accordance to Speedway’s attendance policy
-Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with 1-3 years events planning, marketing or advertising required or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Must have excellent communicate skills including verbal and written using the English language
-Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
-Proficient in use of email and Microsoft Office Suite
-Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Exceptional problem solving, analytical skills required
-Basic accounting skills preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
-Ability to rarely lift and carry <25 lbs. and rarely push/pull up to 50 lbs.
-Constant sitting, Occasional standing and walking
-Occasional bending/reaching, twisting, kneeling, squatting
-Sight required to read, research and create advertising/marketing strategies
-Rare work above shoulder level
-Must be able to constantly pinch, grasp, fine manipulation with fingers to utilize computer and work on engines
-Environmentally controlled work area but may include working with chemicals, noise, dust and grease.
-Occasional work around moving mechanical parts
