We are looking for motivated students who are interested in working with our senior living residents to organize or assist in writing their “life stories.” This practicum would consist of meeting with residents a few hours per week and then working on your own to type/organize the information you have received. The work would then be presented in digital format to the Legacy Retirement Communities Enrichment Director. This is an opportunity to practice your journalistic or creative writing approach. This practicum is a great addition to your portfolio and will be used on Legacy Retirement Communities' website, social media and possibly marketing materials. If you haven’t worked with this demographic before, it will be an enlightening experience. One credit hour.
