The North Platte Telegraph has an opening for a full-time agriculture and general assignment reporter.
We’re looking for a creative self-starter who’s equally comfortable covering breaking news and government meetings, writing feature stories and taking photos. This individual should have strong writing skills and a high level of competence in journalism practices and standards.
The ideal candidated will have a degree in journalism or an ag-related degree and/or newspaper reporting experience.
Hours may include some nights and weekends. A dependable vehicle is required. Comprehensive benefit package is included.
