USA Curling's communications department is looking for students to assist during the 2017 trials held in Omaha.
During the Trials, which begin Nov. 11 and run through Nov. 18, students would be given an opportunity to get experience in a variety of areas:
- Feature story writing for the USA Curling website and the Omaha World Herald
- Post-game interviews with athletes
- Photography – assist photography chief on Nov. 11 for team photos, head shots and video intros
- Running cameras for our live webstream
- Social media projects
- Assisting media when they arrive to cover the event
The opening weekend, Nov. 11-12, games are at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. During the week, sessions will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Games typically last just under 3 hours.
