10/11 Now is looking for a proven newsroom leader to anchor and produce our 4pm newscast, with additional reporting duties during the week.
You will need to produce and anchor our Monday-Friday 4pm newscast. You will serve as the primary fill-in anchor for our 5, 6, and 10pm weekday newscasts. The ideal candidate will need to enterprise, shoot, write, and edit lead stories for an evening newscast and be a digital-first journalist, posting compelling content to social media and station digital platforms.
Qualifications:
> At least 2 years of professional newsroom experience.
> Anchoring, producing and reporting experience.
> An engaging and comfortable on-air personality.
> The ability to enterprise and produce compelling content from start to finish.
> The ability to use exceptional news judgment to prioritize tasks and assignments.
> A four-year degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
