This position is for a full-time Meteorologist. Four-year degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science degree is required, with a minimum of two years experience as a broadcast meteorologist preferred, including demonstrated ability to prepare forecasts. ONLY applicants who are meteorologists will be considered.
Prefer AMS Seal. Must have solid weather background and ability to communicate that knowledge to the audience in a manner clearly understandable. Must be up to date and have experience with equipment, software and graphics needed to present a clean and informative weather segment. Must have experience in web writing and social media platforms.
Must be able to interact with other on-air anchors as part of a broadcast team. The ideal candidate will be part of a weather team concept.
