NRG Media has an immediate opening for a Sports Talk Show Producer for a live 3-hour radio show and other production as needed.
Responsibilities include:
> Operation of Control Board and ancillary equipment necessary for broadcast
> Assist program hosts with booking and scheduling of guests
> Work with hosts on determining program topics
> Assure adherence to program format
> Maintain scheduled commercial playback
> Program pre-production
> Station and program imaging and on-air promotion
> Administration of social media platforms
> Commercial and promo production as assigned
This position requires a working knowledge of National, Regional and Local sports personnel, teams, topics and issues. Previous experience with NexGen audio playback and scheduling systems, live program production, familiarity with Podcasts, email, Twitter, SoundCloud and other social media platforms and Adobe Audition digital production experience are all definite pluses.
